This page is dedicated to songs I've released as well as unreleased past studio projects. Also sharing live recordings from various projects/shows. Although nowadays my songwriting and music is primarily Blues infused it still has elements of Roots, Folk, Funk, Latin and Rap. Harmonica was my first love, followed by guitar, but at heart it was the lyrics of artists such as Bob Dylan, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Cat Stevens,Eric Burdon and countless others... who inspired me to write songs and embark on finding my own songwriting/lyrical style.

STAR STEP EVOLUTION

First band project Adelaide South Australia 2006-2009.

Early days growing up in Canada, after some time of practicing, developing and eventually performing, I also delved into home recording and made demos of rough drafts and finished songs on my Tascam four-track cassette recorder. I soon upgraded to a portable digital studio recorder laying down tracks and capturing what was the beginning of a lifelong passion of song creation. I was heavily influenced by blues, 60s, 70s, folk and rock.
By the time I moved to Australia, I was ready to embark on a musical project focusing on original material. I was curious to see the response as my lyrics were exposing societal injustices, the importance of inner growth/shadow work, connecting with nature… hence the name Star Step Evolution.

The demos I made for Mike and Benny were to form something new and experimental – moving away from the Roots ‘n’ Blues, fusing folk with funk to compliment my evolving writing style. Unfortunately the band ran its course but not before going into Banjo Frog studios to capture some of songs. Here are the finished tracks.
